In the early hours of November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students were tragically stabbed to death in their off-campus home. Kohberger, a criminology graduate student at nearby Washington State University, was arrested in late December 2022. He faces four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary, with a potential death penalty if convicted.
