El Paso residents now have the opportunity to unleash their inner artist with the new certified Bob Ross painting experience offered by Shawn Warswick, the only certified Ross instructor in the region. Warswick’s classes follow the wet-on-wet oil painting technique made famous by Bob Ross on The Joy of Painting, providing a relaxing, creative, and fun experience for all skill levels.
Warswick’s classes are beginner-friendly, with all materials provided, and students get to take home a completed painting at the end of each session. The philosophy behind the classes is that everyone deserves the chance to paint something beautiful, echoing Bob Ross’s belief that there are no mistakes, only happy accidents.
After completing a three-week training in Florida to become certified, Warswick opened his classes to all ages, inviting anyone interested in exploring their artistic side to join in. The next class is scheduled for May 3rd, and those interested can register or see upcoming sessions on Warswick’s website.
