Atlanta, G.A. – In an impressive display of pitching and hitting, the Georgia State Panthers secured a 3-0 victory over the South Alabama Jaguars in game two of their series. Starting pitcher Ross Norman delivered seven scoreless innings, while the Panthers’ offense provided run support early in the game. Michael Maginnis’ single in the third inning and Andon Lewis’ solo home run in the fourth put Georgia State ahead. Norman’s stellar performance included eight strikeouts, with Jacob Crews closing out the game and earning the save. This win marked the team’s fifth consecutive series victory of the season. The Panthers will look to complete a series sweep when they face South Alabama again at 1:00 p.m. on March 16th at the GSU Baseball Complex.
