Georgia State women’s basketball team secured a thrilling 75-72 victory over Coastal Carolina with a strong performance from Mya Williams, who scored a career-high 24 points, and Kaleigh Addie, who scored 20. The Panthers made 10 three-pointers in the game, shooting 50 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Williams had a standout game with six three-pointers and Addie contributed 11 points in the fourth quarter to help secure the win. Mikyla Tolivert nearly had a double-double with 12 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while Crystal Henderson tallied nine assists.

Georgia State was able to overcome a deficit in the fourth quarter, taking the lead with back-to-back threes from Williams and Addie. Coastal Carolina fought back, but ultimately fell short with a missed three-pointer in the final seconds of the game.

The Panthers outrebounded Coastal Carolina, forced 14 turnovers, and converted them into 21 points. After trailing in the second quarter, Georgia State rallied to tie the game at 53 heading into the fourth.
