A suspect was apprehended on Monday at UnitedHealthcare’s campus in Minnesota, more than four months after the company’s CEO, Brian Thompson, was killed in New York City. The Minnetonka Police Department stated that there was a large police presence at the campus and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. They also reassured the public that there was no threat to their safety.
Thompson was fatally shot outside a New York City hotel nearly 19 weeks ago. A nationwide manhunt ensued, leading to the arrest of the suspect, Luigi Mangione, five days later at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
