Georgia State beach volleyball team ended their 2025 home competition with a strong showing at the Diggin Duals Tournament at the GSU Beach Complex. The team, ranked No. 18, secured five victories during the two-day event. Two pairs, Ayla Johnson/Aree Keller and Danica Singleton/Michaela Jefferson, stood out with perfect 5-0 performances. The tournament also saw the team honoring their graduating seniors.
The Sandy Panthers started the event by defeating North Alabama and followed it up with a win over No. 14 Stetson. They continued their winning streak with victories against ULM and Eastern Kentucky. The win over Eastern Kentucky marked head coach Beth Van Fleet’s 250th win. The team finished the weekend with another win against North Alabama, maintaining an undefeated record of 7-0 in conference action.
Next, Georgia State will head to Columbia, S.C. for the Palmetto Invitational, marking the last weekend of regular season action before the Sun Belt Conference begins in Foley, Ala.
