The ULM beach volleyball team had its winning streak snapped at the Georgia State Diggin Duals after losses to No. 14 Stetson and EKU. In the first match, Stetson defeated ULM 5-0, with wins in four of the five matches. Stetson’s No. 4 pair claimed a victory over ULM’s Katie Felts and Maggie Cox. The clinching point came at the No. 1 pair when Stetson’s Maria Ozaeta and Katie Camp defeated ULM’s Kaitlyn Beck and Madeline Marquez. In the second match, EKU defeated ULM 3-2, with EKU winning the first two duals. ULM’s Abby Ryno and Claire Williamson secured a point for ULM in pair two. EKU sealed the win with a three-set victory in pair four. ULM’s Avery Hunter and Kaelyn Fredette-Huffman also secured a win in pair three.
ULM will play a tripleheader the following day at the Georgia State Diggin’ Duals, facing No. 18 Georgia State, North Alabama, and EKU.
