National Signing Day: Georgia Bulldogs Welcome New Talents
National Signing Day has arrived, marking a pivotal moment for college football as recruits officially ink their commitments from Wednesday to Friday. The University of Georgia (UGA) is anticipating the confirmation of its 2025 class during this Early Signing Period, with UGASports providing a live tracker of the signees.
Notably, 6-foot-7 offensive tackle, Short, switched from an earlier commitment to Alabama, ultimately choosing Georgia. Ranked as the nation’s No. 54 prospect, he brings versatility, able to cover multiple positions along the offensive line. Another significant addition comes from former Ohio State commit Gilbert, projected to transition to cornerback at UGA after excelling in various roles at Douglass High.
The pipeline from IMG Academy continues to thrive as Dominick Kelly joins the Bulldogs, having reclassified from 2026 but remaining committed since July. Uzochukwu, another offensive lineman from Peachtree Ridge, made waves by flipping from Georgia State, showcasing tremendous upside despite only two years of experience as an offensive lineman.
Gaston, a notable 6-foot-8, 330-pound tackle with a prior commitment to Alabama, also signed. Georgia’s focus on player development played a key role in securing Glover, a highly-regarded offensive guard from Langston Hughes, who contributes to a formidable rushing attack.
Tight end Barbour, who recorded over 800 yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior year, and versatile all-purpose back Walker, noted for his tough running style reminiscent of former Bulldog Nick Chubb, round out the impressive signing class. Walker’s commitment was bolstered amidst competition from other top programs.
The Bulldogs are poised to enhance their roster significantly as they welcome these talented athletes, setting the stage for a promising future.
