Market infrastructure provider TP ICAP has recently announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in order to streamline and scale TP ICAP’s technology infrastructure. The agreement includes the acceleration of the development of TP ICAP’s flagship digital platform, Fusion, through the collaboration of 45 AWS professional services engineers with TP ICAP’s technology teams. This partnership aims to enhance new product development times, improve scalability, and increase TP ICAP’s IT workload on AWS Cloud to over 80%.
TP ICAP’s group CEO, Nicolas Breteau, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that it positions TP ICAP as a leader in digital transformation within the industry. The partnership will allow the development of new functionality at a faster pace to enhance the Fusion platform and better serve clients. Additionally, AWS will assist TP ICAP in establishing an AI and Innovation Lab to accelerate and scale AI-driven solutions, which will further enhance the company’s capabilities.
Furthermore, TP ICAP’s strategic “All in on Cloud” strategy aims to migrate over 80% of its technology infrastructure to AWS by the end of 2026. This move is expected to deliver significant annual savings, reduce carbon emissions, and decrease reliance on physical data centers and legacy systems. Tanuja Randery, VP and managing director of AWS EMEA, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in empowering TP ICAP’s workforce with AI capabilities and skills to develop advanced solutions. Overall, the partnership between TP ICAP and AWS promises to bring about significant technological advancements and benefits for both companies.
