Warner Robins Eateries Celebrate the Passage of the Brunch Bill

Warner Robins’ Brunch Law Boosts Local Restaurant Scene

Warner Robins, Ga. – One year after the modification of the local brunch ordinance allowing restaurants to serve alcohol starting at 11 a.m. on Sundays, eateries are celebrating a notable shift in customer experience and sales. Previously, establishments were restricted to serving liquor until 12:30 p.m., leaving many patrons frustrated and leading them to neighboring cities with more lenient regulations.

At Props Steak and Seafood Restaurant, Executive Chef Kory Mack notes a significant change since the law took effect. “Brunch is synonymous with drinks like mimosas and bloody Marys,” he emphasized. Mack recalls previous confusion among customers who were accustomed to earlier drinking hours in other areas. The earlier service time has not only boosted sales but has also enhanced the overall dining experience.

Fresco Italiano’s General Manager, Jessica Santamaria, echoes similar sentiments. She praises the newfound freedom patrons enjoy, which, according to her, has elevated their spirits and improved foot traffic. “Customers used to leave for bigger cities where there were no limitations. Now, they are more interested in visiting Warner Robins,” she said, highlighting how the law has changed perceptions of the city from a small town to a vibrant urban locale.

The revisions to the ordinance have led to a more dynamic brunch culture in Warner Robins, allowing local restaurants to thrive while keeping residents and visitors happier. As the community celebrates this testament to progress, it’s clear that the updated brunch law has made a lasting positive impact on the local hospitality industry.
