Celebrity Accused of ‘Extortion’ by Diddy Accusers’ Lawyer Will Be Named

Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing 120 people accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of sex crimes, is planning to file a lawsuit against the celebrity after being accused of extortion by a lawsuit filed by lawyers for an anonymous celebrity. The lawsuit alleged that Buzbee was trying to extort money from the celebrity in exchange for not filing a public lawsuit.

Buzbee denied the extortion claim, calling it “laughable” and stating that the demand letter was a common legal practice intended for confidential mediation before a lawsuit is filed. He also accused the lawsuit against him of trying to intimidate or silence him, which he vowed not to allow.

The lawsuit against Buzbee claimed that he threatened to publicize fabricated allegations of sexual assault, including rape of a minor, to pressure their client into complying with undisclosed demands. Buzbee defended the demand letter, stating that it did not include specific threats or demand a specific amount of money.

Meanwhile, additional lawsuits have been filed against Combs by Buzbee’s firm, alleging sexual assault, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation. These lawsuits involve five more alleged victims, with three being male and two female, and relate to incidents dating as far back as 2001 in New York and Miami.

Buzbee criticized the actions of the accuser’s attorneys, alleging that they called TMZ after filing the lawsuit. He emphasized his commitment to not allowing powerful individuals and high-dollar lawyers to silence sexual assault survivors. Combs, who is currently facing a trial for sex trafficking, has not responded to the new lawsuits.
