Recently decommitted from Southern Cal, Lewis opted not to disclose his future plans but emphasized the importance of focusing on personal development and camaraderie among teammates.
"My advice to other elite prospects is to ‘keep the main thing the main thing.’ It’s about enjoying time with your teammates and not getting lost in the pressures of recruitment," Lewis stated. He underscored the significance of seeking a college environment that fosters growth over financial incentives, as he prepares for a transition that will see him leave for college in December at just 17 years old.
