B.I.G. Entertainment Network Launches to Boost Georgia’s Creative Economy

October 30, 2024 – The B.I.G. Entertainment Network officially launched this week, positioning itself as Georgia’s premier advocate for local investment in the state’s burgeoning creative economy. Formerly known as the Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance, B.I.G. has been a key player in promoting sound economic policies, job creation, and support for local businesses since its inception in 2014.

The rebranding to the B.I.G. Entertainment Network marks a significant evolution in its mission, reflecting a dynamic commitment to the diverse businesses that underlie Georgia’s thriving entertainment industry. With a focus on various elements spanning from stages and post-production to film-friendly vendors, B.I.G. aims to provide robust support for the state’s creative ecosystem.

Misty Holcomb, Founder and Vice President of Government Relations, expressed enthusiasm for the new phase, stating, “As Georgia’s entertainment economy continues to evolve, so do we. This rebranding marks an exciting new chapter, allowing us to expand our reach across the state and deepen our partnerships with local businesses and communities.” The organization has also recently expanded its leadership team, welcoming industry executives Matt Campbell and Tucker Green, who share a vision for the future of Georgia’s creative sectors.

In collaboration with the Coastal Entertainment Alliance and other regional organizations, B.I.G. is strategically positioned to help facilitate the anticipated growth of Georgia’s entertainment sector. Their overarching goal is to promote sustainable growth and job creation, ensuring that Georgia remains a premier destination for creative industries.
