Georgia State Athletics was recently recognized for their commitment to academic excellence, as one of four SBC schools awarded the Student-Athlete Graduation Success Rate Award. Achieving a graduation success rate of 90% in the 2024 academic year, the department has also maintained an impressive departmental GPA of 3.0 or higher for 26 consecutive academic terms. The 2023-2024 academic year saw notable achievements in both fall and spring, with male and female teams earning impressive GPAs.
Additionally, Georgia State student-athletes have been commended for their academic achievements, with 180 earning a place on the AD Honor Roll, 168 on the Dean’s List, and 93 on the President’s List for the same academic year.
