Seven people, including a six-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister, were tragically killed when a bus overturned on Interstate 20 near Bovina in Warren County, Mississippi. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, with the 2018 Volvo commercial passenger bus leaving the roadway and flipping over.
Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey confirmed the identities of the victims, with the mother recognizing them. Authorities are still working to identify the remaining deceased. Thirty-seven passengers were taken to various hospitals with injuries of unknown severity, while the co-driver did not require medical attention.
