The cancellation of the remaining events at the Festival of Diversity, which was a part of Solingen’s anniversary celebrations, underscores the somber mood in the city following the attack. The community has come together to offer support, with churches opening their doors for prayer and emergency pastoral care, and an online portal set up for witnesses to provide information.
