Police in Bridgeton, New Jersey are looking for a woman who climbed over a barrier at a zoo and approached a tiger enclosure, narrowly avoiding being bitten. Video footage shows the woman climbing over a wooden fence and putting her hand through a metal fence in an apparent attempt to pet the tiger. The tiger quickly moves towards her, causing her to pull her hand away and step back. The woman then poses for a photograph before climbing back over the wooden fence. Bridgeton police are urging anyone with information to come forward. This incident is reminiscent of a similar incident at the Bronx Zoo in 2019, when a woman climbed into a lion enclosure and appeared to taunt one of the lions. Visitors to the zoo are reminded that climbing over fences is against city ordinance.
