Three student-athletes from Georgia State University have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements. Panthers football players Cornelius Brown IV and Glynn Hubbard III, along with women’s soccer player Brooke Rivard, have earned Academic All-District honors.
Cornelius Brown IV, a sophomore quarterback, is majoring in finance and carries a 3.6 GPA. Glynn Hubbard III, a junior wide receiver, is pursuing a degree in management with a 3.44 GPA. Brooke Rivard, a sophomore midfielder on the women’s soccer team, is studying exercise science and boasts a 3.97 GPA.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.30 and have participated in at least 50% of their team’s competitions. This recognition highlights the dedication and hard work that these three Panthers have put into their academic and athletic pursuits.
“We are extremely proud of Cornelius, Glynn, and Brooke for their commitment to excellence both on and off the field,” said Georgia State Athletics Director Charlie Cobb. “Their academic accomplishments reflect the high standards we hold for our student-athletes, and they serve as role models for their teammates and peers.”
