Four bodies were recovered from a sunken superyacht off Sicily, with two passengers still missing. The body of the ship’s cook was recovered on Monday, and on Wednesday, more bodies were found by divers. The yacht was owned by a firm linked to Lynch’s wife and could accommodate up to 12 guests and 10 crew members. The Mediterranean sailing trip was meant to celebrate Lynch’s recent acquittal of fraud charges in the United States. Additionally, Lynch’s co-defendant in the fraud case tragically died in a car accident just days before the yacht sank. The yacht had a nearly 250-foot mast, making it one of the tallest aluminum sailing masts in the world. The incident has left a sense of shock and sadness among those involved and the local community in Sicily.
