The 2024 Paris Games are coming to a close with the upcoming closing ceremony at the Stade de France. The ceremony will feature a variety of performers and surprise acts to celebrate the end of the Olympics and look forward to the 2028 Los Angeles Games. The ceremony will start at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, with an encore telecast during prime time. Viewers can watch the ceremony on NBC, Peacock, or their local NBC channel.

The closing ceremony will include over a hundred performers, acrobats, dancers, and circus artists, with a theme of “Records.” There will be a parade of athletes, a display of flags, and the handover of the Olympic flag from Paris to Los Angeles. Some final medals may be handed out, and the Olympic flame will be extinguished. The Paralympic flame will be lit shortly after the closing ceremony.

Hosts for the ceremony include Mike Tirico, Jimmy Fallon, Tara Lipinski, Johnny Weir, and Terry Gannon, with performances by artists like Snoop Dogg, H.E.R., Billie Eilish, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Flag bearers for Team USA will be swimmer Katie Ledecky and rower Nick Mead. The closing ceremony will also feature the host city handover from Paris to Los Angeles and is expected to last a little over two hours.
