Los Angeles police have released video stills showing three suspects allegedly involved in the killing of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor. Wactor was shot in May after interrupting a catalytic converter theft on his car in downtown Los Angeles. The suspects were seen near a black Infiniti Q50 sedan used to flee the scene, with one suspect having distinct tattoos. The LAPD is asking the public for help in identifying the suspects.
Wactor was heading to his car with a co-worker after a night shift when they discovered the theft in progress. He remained calm as he confronted the suspects, but was shot without provocation. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Wactor had always dreamed of becoming an actor and made his TV debut on Lifetime’s “West Wives” before appearing on “General Hospital” and other shows.
The actor’s mother described him as a passionate actor who worked hard to make his dreams a reality. Wactor’s death has shocked his colleagues and fans in the entertainment industry. Police are continuing to investigate the case and are urging anyone with information about the suspects to come forward. The tragic incident serves as a reminder of the violence and crime that can occur even in busy urban areas.
